Our practice is comprised of four board-certified pediatricians and two pediatric nurse practitioners, catering to children and their specific health care needs. Whether visiting for routine checkups, immunizations, school physicals, illness or injury, your child will receive exceptional care.

David M. Castro, M.D.
Founder and Owner
Dr. Castro graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, Incarnate Word University of San Antonio, and The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his Pediatric Residency at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Castro is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Aracely I. Ferrer, M.D.
Founder and Owner
Dr. Ferrer graduated from Texas A & M College of Medicine. She completed her residency at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Ferrer is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Laurel Franck, M.D.
Owner
Dr. Laurel Franck was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University – College Station and went on to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Franck completed her pediatric residency at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center program and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She is excited to be back in Texas and at Caring For Kids. Dr. Franck enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughters, family, and friends.
